Full range of general practice services are offered including general examinations,insurance,driving and company medicals,maternity care,paediatric and travel vaccinations and taking of blood samples.In addition,repair of skin cuts and lacerations,excision of skin lumps and treatment of warts,verrucae and skin tags can usually be undertaken.Many of these services are covered by private insurance so do bring this to our attention at the time of treatment.
IMS Therapy-Dr.Lynch performs modified acupuncture for the management of chronic muscular conditions such as sciatica,back pain,tendonitis of the shoulder and elbow.This treatment is not covered by the medical card scheme and patients need to sign a consent form before undertaking it.Please ask if you require further information.
How to register-You may register by presenting at the office and completing a change of doctor form (if you have a medical card) and by completing a form to allow transfer of your medical records from your previous doctor.
How to see the doctor-We ask that you make an appointment for your doctor visit-occasionally this is not possible and we will accommodate patients without appointments where possible, though you may have to wait for a period of time as priority is given to those with appointments except in emergency situations.Our goal is that all urgent cases are seen on the day of your call.
Telephone Consultations-The doctor can speak to patients after 12.30 pm till 1 pm daily for results and advice.You may appreciate that some problems cannot be resolved over the phone and it may be necessary to make a formal appointment subsequently.
Home Visits-Home visits are available for patients who are too ill to travel to the office.If you think you may need a home visit, you are requested to phone as early in the day as possible to facilitate such requests.
Repeat Prescriptions-Patients on long term medications may request repeat prescriptions in writing with the names and strengths of their tablets(available when your pills are dispensed by the pharmacist).Twenty four hours notice is requested except in emergency situations where we will try to accommodate as soon as possible.
Repeat Certificates-Social Welfare and work certificates can be ordered with 24 hours notice and patients are asked to provide their PPS numbers and the dates for issue at the time of the request.

Late opening 6pm-7pm Mon.-Thurs.
Sat.9.30am-11am.
